On 1st we need to know what is the battery :
Battery which is placed in a closed chamber with two rods consider as anode ( + ) and cathode ( - ). When Electrons move from anode to cathode is electricity, when all the electrons moved from anode to cathode the battery remains null charge. To recharge the battery again the electrons in cathode should move to anode with some external power source.
There are many Types of rechargeable battery such as :
Nickel cadmium, Nickel metal hydride, Lithium ion etc. Most of the electric vehicles contains Lithium ion battery.
The value of battery around :
Mobile Phone battery : 4000Mah or 5000mah
Electric two wheeler : 2Kwh or 4 Kwh
Electric four wheeler : 30Kwh, 40Kwh etc
What is Mah, Ah, Kwh – Milliamp Hours, Amp hours, Kilowatt hours
The value of 1 Ah amp hour = 83.33 amp
Then value of 1 milli amp = 83,330 milliamp
Then how to calculate 1 kilowatt hour ; here for example 1kw * 1000 / 120v = 8.33amp
Now, how to measure in batteries
There are n number of electrons in a battery to measure those C ( coulomb ) is used
1 coulomb = 6.25 * 10^18 = 6.25000000000000000000
1 amp = 1 coulomb per second
1 hour = 3600 second
1amp hour = 1amp * 3600
Then, get to 1st thing that mobile battery is 4000mah so 4000milliamp * 3600 = 14,400C
Bike battery 0f 4Kwh = 144,000,00C ( 1 crore, 44 thousand )
Car battery of 25Kwh = 900,000,00C ( 9 crore )
So, here it takes time to recharge the 9crore coulomb and 1 crore coulomb but its easy to recharge 14,000C
Now you understood why it takes time for bike and car as compare to mobile phones.
But here, why we are measuring in amp why we not using volt, because the high current AC current will be measure in volt, here dc the value is less and battery is not constant value so it cant measure in volt.
